Steamboat Pilot’s Home in Nashville

This is the Dortch House in Nashville. It was built in 1890 by Nathaniel Dortch who was a steamboat pilot on the nearby Cumberland River. He also served as the Nashville City Treasurer. This house is super unique. I love the little slate turret!
