Rosecross in Knoxville

This house is called “Rosecross” and was built in 1888 by celebrated local architects, the Baumann brothers. It’s one of just a few they designed still standing. They are credited with designing Knoxville’s Westwood and Immaculate Conception church.

This home has all 6 fireplaces, complete with their original mantles, pocket doors, and several beautiful stained glass windows.

It’s located in the historic Mechanicsville neighborhood. I was drawn to this one because of those beautiful Christmas colors! 🎄❤️
