Oldest Continuous Use Synagogue in Alabama

Temple B’nai Sholom in Huntsville, Alabama was built in 1898. B’nai sholom means Sons of Peace. It was built with a Romanesque Revival style and was designed by architect R. H. Hunt of Chattanooga. It’s the oldest synagogue in continuous use in the state of Alabama!
