The Taylor House in Midway, Kentucky was built in 1876. It was designed by David Lehman as an adaptation of an A.J. Downing design. Many of the homes in this town can be attributed to Lehman and he built three of them here in this style.

Beautiful Old Mandeville Home
This beautiful Mandeville home was originally built in the late 1800s and then extensively remodelled in 1915. It was built for Mrs Marie ‘Emma’ Duteil Prudhomme. Historic Manor Hall, Circa 1859
The oldest home in the Pleasant Historic District of Mt. Pleasant is Manor Hall. It was built in 1859 for Martin Luther Stockard. It still has it’s detached one and a half story brick kitchen in the back! In June of 1874, Stockard was taking a stroll on his front lawn when he was attacked
