Hinkle Hill Street
Hinkle Hill Street is on, well, a hill! With the number of mayors that have lived on just this street (three!), this one may could have been called “Mayor’s Hill”. Before the homes were developed here, it belonged to A. D. Fugitt and one side of this road was possibly his driveway. As news homes were built, a road was laid and called “No Name” for a number of years until finally being named Hinkle Hill Street. It is suspected that the name came from the many Hinkles that called this hill home.
