Old houses are truly all I do, and I’m excited to begin sharing historic homes that are available for purchase. Many of my followers are actively searching for an old house to call home, while others simply love seeing these properties still standing, waiting patiently for their next chapter and getting to see what they look like inside.
What Qualifies?
Because Pretty Old Places is dedicated exclusively to pretty old and historic homes, I only want to feature listings for houses built before 1940. In addition, I reserve the right to decline any listing that I do not feel is a good fit for my feed or audience. This ensures the content remains consistent, curated, and true to the spirit of Pretty Old Places.
This is a new venture for me, as I’ve traditionally shared only photos and videos I’ve captured myself. That said, I love the idea of spotlighting wonderful old homes that can be purchased, preserved, and loved for generations to come. After all, the ultimate goal of the old house community is simple: to keep old homes lived in and loved.
I’ll be testing this out and making adjustments as needed based on how it resonates with my old house friends.
