Hardin-Figuers House, Columbia
This one has always caught my eye when driving through Columbia’s historic neighborhoods. Tall and skinny. Simple, but detailed. The Hardin-Figuers House was built in the 1880s for a narrow lot. It’s a side hall plan and inside has a spiral staircase! It contributes to the West Sixth Street Historic District.

1890s Bell Buckle Victorian
Walks through Bell Buckle are beautiful almost any time of year, but the spring may the prettiest of them all! This home is one of my favorites in town. It was built sometime in the 1890s. It’s beautifully maintained inside and out, and is a treasure to our little town!

Springfield, Tennessee Victorian
I enjoyed a stroll through Springfield, Tennessee again recently and found one that I haven’t noticed before. This cutie was built around 1901. It has two entrances, but from what I have read, it is a single family home. It contributes to the Springfield Historic District and also to the joy during my sunset walk.

5 Logan Street – Charleston, SC
It’s a sunshiney Friday with this beautiful old place in Charleston! This home was built in 1878 and has been lovingly maintained all these years. I love that stained glass transom with the address number and the stained glass door!

Olde Town Augusta, GA Home
Located in the heart of Olde Town in Augusta, this Queen Anne was built in 1894. It’s now known as the Queen Anne Inn and is available to stay in if you’re visiting the area. Olde Town has also been known as “Pinch Gut” which may have gotten its nickname from either the corset fashion
